No matter if your business is online or brick and mortar, your brand can make or break your success rate. Have you ever noticed how a successful business brand can evoke a feeling? When you think about some of the big-name companies like Disney, Apple, Coca-Cola, or Pepsi, each company creates an atmosphere for each of their target demographic. Does your current brand inspire a feeling? If so, is it the feeling you want to invoke? In this article, I will breakdown how important it is for you and your business to maximize your brand. It is easier than you may think as long as you know a few things.
Know Your Audience

What does your target demographic look like? If you don’t know who you are trying to attract, you are applying the spray and pray method. Here is the thing about trying to hit everyone at the same time. When you try to appeal to everyone, it makes it harder to stand out in one area. How is that a problem? Well, for starters, who would you rather work with, someone who is an expert in their field or someone who is merely starting in it? Personally, if I need something, I want the person who is the best at it. Remember, if you are a Jack of all trades, not only are you a master of none, you also are less likely to be able to pay the bills. Figure out who you can do the most for and become an expert at helping them. Once you have become a master in that area, then you can branch out, but not before.
Become Pitch Perfect

After you have established who it is, you can help the most you want to put yourself in their shoes. What do they like to do, what do they like to eat, where are they most comfortable? Try to break down your ideal client as much as possible. Some of the most important things to keep in mind from a business aspect are age, gender, income, and current problems. These four areas are going to tell you exactly where to fish for your target-rich environment. I mean, you could do all social media platforms, but that would take up a lot of time, and it wouldn’t be beneficial to you and your business. Some of the most important things to keep in mind from a visual aspect are colors, feelings, and hobbies. These three areas are going to help you create the perfect lure to attract your ideal client.
What Do You Believe In?
One of the most important things to always keep in the back of your mind is what feeling you want to inspire as a company. Remember, after you have mastered one area, you can branch out. However, your company should always focus on generating the same feeling regardless of which direction you choose to go in the future. Take Disney, for example, and they have expanded into damn near everything. Disney started as an animation studio, then went into the amusement arena, then music, and then education, and so on. At the heart of every one of their business ventures, the same feelings are invoked. They always focus on inspiring others to create and grow. Not only do they stay on point with their target, families, and children, they are constant in their dedication to inspire happiness and love.
Generate A Feeling

When it comes to applying these aspects to your own business, you want to write out what your company’s core values are. This is typically achieved when you create your mission statement and vision statements. Figuring out what your company stands for, where you see it going, and who your target demographic is often the hardest thing to do. But once you have managed to work these out, everything you do should come back to all three of these areas, ALWAYS! I will use my company as an example. I started my first company because I was sick and dying. When I went online to seek help, I was met with thousands of salespeople, all pushing products they swore would save me. I will be honest; I bought from quite a few of them because I was desperate.
What Drives Me
Not only did the products not help me, I quickly hardened to the idea of working with or purchasing from companies online. Eventually, I came across someone who stopped pitching me on a sale and heard me out. I quickly built up a trust centered relationship with her, and to this day, I know it was because of her that I am still here today. Not only did I end up buying from her, but I also became one of her number one most loyal clients. The big difference behind her approach, and what I teach others to replicate is that she got out from behind her product. She could have done what all the others had and talked to me about her miracle product that would fix everything in the world. However, she took the time to get to know me and my needs. It turned out she had experienced a similar situation, and as a result, she wanted to offer others hope.
Your Story Can Set You Apart

I applied that same feeling to my approach. Everything I do for my business is to inspire hope for others. As a mindset coach, I inspire hope in my clients by helping them see the silver lining in everything they do. In my Health Influencer’s Mastermind coaching, I inspire confidence in the coaches I work with by educating them on the best way to get their message out there. As the owner of the Best Holistic Life, I continue to inspire hope in everyone by providing them with access to other like-minded individuals who want everyone to be happy, healthy, and successful in everything they do. On my Oh My Health There’s Hope Podcast, I use the power of personal stories to inspire others. In everything I do, no matter how fast my business grows, I always come back to the feeling that my experience inspired me.
