JANA SHORT – INDEPENDENT WELLNESS ADVOCATE
Let me tell you about my experience with dōTERRA. 5 years ago, I was dealing with some digestive issues that required me to be fed through a tube. This meant I had to carry a backpack that provided me with nutrients for 18 hours every day. Unfortunately, the nutrients were not working well with my organs and it was obvious to all that I wouldn’t be able to continue on much longer.
I wasn’t searching for a solution; I had accepted my fate. We had just been blessed with our 5th grand baby and I was consumed of thoughts of how he would most likely never know me or have a memory of me. On my quest to make some awesome memories with my grandchildren I took off, backpack and grandchildren in tow and went on a memory creating adventure.
Fortunately for me, the Universe had other plans. More than 3 states from home, with 2 of my daughters and all 5 grandchildren, I found myself in a dōTERRA class. I was skeptical at first but willing and open to anything at that point.
Now I have 7 grandchildren, I ran a 200 mile RAGNAR Relay Race last April with my sister and daughter. I recently went to Patagonia and hike to see the most amazing glaciers with my fiancé and best friend.
For me dōTERRA was never about the money, it was about quality of life. I still have my original health issues, dōTERRA didn’t cure me. What it has done is give me back an amazing quality of life, full of energy and joy. I no longer have to be fed through a tube and feel better than I have in many years.
On my amazing dōTERRA journey I found myself following a new career path. Instead of creating beauty in peoples’ homes as an interior designer, I now help create financial freedom. My income has increased to the point I now am able to focusing 100% on helping others! I love dōTERRA Essential Oils because of the way they positively affected my life and the lives of those I am fortunate enough to share them with.
I grew up in Southern California, the oldest of 5 children. My parents worked hard, my step-father on the family dairy and my mom in the medical field. As an adult with children and grandchildren I now realize what they sacrificed to provide the life we were given. There are huge age gaps between me and my sisters, 10, 17 and 20 years! As the oldest I knew from a very young age that being a mom is exactly what I aspired to be.
I love creating just about anything! Which is one of the reasons I chose Interior Design. Creating with my hands and making something beautiful always gives me a huge sense of accomplishment and pride. So I am constantly putting together some kind of concoction.
I love spending time with my family, backyard BBQ’s, beach outings, anything to create
memories with my family. You will almost always find me at the end of the day snuggled in a good book. I love reading and have been blessed to pass that passion on to my children and now grandchildren. Reading opens up a whole new world to our hearts, mind and soul!
I have always wanted to travel see different places and experience other cultures. I love walking the streets of foreign places and taking in the people and architectural surroundings, absorb the history of another time and place. I dream of touching others with joy and love and visualize leaving this world with more than it has given me. I aspire to creating more time with family and friends. The greatest gift is truly time and I now understand that and cherish it more than anything.
Several years ago I met my hero. I met a man that had many faults! MANY! And yet he had even more amazing qualities. He wakes up every morning kisses me good bye and goes to a job he absolutely loves as a Veterinarian. He is an incredible father and absolutely adores his grandchildren. When I was sick he was my biggest advocate and I know I am here today because he fought so hard for me. He is my hero because of his compassionate heart, patience, and love for others.
I have 4 amazing children 3 beautiful daughters and my amazing son. My 2 oldest daughters have given me 7 grandchildren that I thank God for everyday. I always thought it was my job to teach my children compassion, kindness &acceptance of others? I now realize that it is these beautiful little souls that have taught me so much about those very things.
THIS IS YOUR OPPORTUNITY
Now that you know me a little I would love the opportunity to know you better. I would like to meet you where ever you’re at in your life right now.
